Healing by Feeling

I havent watched a Malay movie in a long time. Yesterday, my brother Hadi and I decided to watch 'Ombak Rindu'.The movie was adapted from one of the best novels of all time also called 'Ombak Rindu' which translates to 'Waves of Longing' in English. It's a love story of a poor innocent village girl who got tricked by her uncle by selling her to a club to become a prostitute. 

On the first night, struggling and unwilling, she was forced to get drunk, eventually passing out. Her first customer was a rich young man who decided to buy her out from the club. Kept her at first as a mistress, they eventually developed love between them.

A very moving love story. A lot to take note on Izah's (played by Maya Karin) character on faith and love.
